AbstractChinese verbs "dai" and "dai" are one of the most commonly used verbs in Chinese. The pronunciation of these two words is the same, but their meaning and usage are different. Chinese learners sometimes make mistakes in their understanding of "dai" and "dai" in the process of learning. In addition, the use of different verbs can change the meaning of a sentence.The author tested the 2017 students of Mandarin Education Language Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Tanjumgpura University using "dai" and "dai" to analyze the students errors and find out the reasons. From the results of the test, the author concludes that the error rate of students using "dai" verbs is 34%, the correct rate is 66%, and the error rate of "dai" verbs is 35%, the correct rate is 65%. The reasons for the errors in the use of the verbs "dai" and "dai" by students are the difficulties of "dai" and "dai" in Indonesian. The results show that some of the usages of these two verbs have been mastered well, but some of them are not mastered well. The author also understands that the common types of errors in students learning are misrepresentation errors, which are caused by the negative transfer of mother tongue and the negative transfer of target language.             Keywords: Verbs?
