<![CDATA[This quasi experimental research aims to know the influence of cooperative learning model of TPS type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding in eighth grade students of even semester junior high school state 26 Bandar Lampung. The samples are VIII F as experiment class and VIII C as control class that are obtained by purposive sampling technique. The design research is posttest only. The data of research is student’s mathematical conceptual understanding that is obtained by test. The average value of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of the TPS class is better than conventional class. It concludes that cooperative learning model of TPS type has influence towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding in eighth grades students of junior high school state 26 Bandar Lampung.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only. Data penelitian pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes. Rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis.
