<![CDATA[This research was aimed to produce the students worksheet based on inquiry that valid and practical, and effective to increase students mathematical communication. Subject in this research was grade VII-3 students in SMPN 6 Metro in academic year 2017/2018. This design of research used one group pretest-posttest design. The data of research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs and mathematical communication test. Based on the results of the validity by media and material expert and practical test by teacher and students, the students worksheet based on inquiry was classified as excellent. Based on the results of data analysis of mathematical comunication test result obtained student has 75% of student get the test scores reach KKM. The improvement of mathematical comunication obtained the average score of 0,72 was classified as high. The conclusion of this research and development was students worksheet based on inquiry of valid, practical, and effective towards mathematics communicatoin ability of student.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII-3 SMP Negeri 6 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Berdasarkan uji kevalidan oleh ahli media dan materi serta uji kepraktisan menurut guru dan peserta didik, LKPD berbasis inkuiri tergolong sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis diperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik sudah 75% peserta didik memperoleh nilai tes mencapai KKM. Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis diperoleh skor rata-rata 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah LKPD berbasis inkuiri valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik.Kata kunci: inkuiri, komunikasi matematis, LKPD.]]>
