This is quasi experimental research that aims to know the effectiveness of learning by TAPPS strategy considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. Population in this research was seventh grade students in Junior High School State 10 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012/2013 that is consist of five classes. The sample were VII C and VII D class choosen by using purposive sampling technique. This research uses posttest only control group design. The data of this research were obtained through student’s mathematical conceptual understanding test. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it is concluded that learning by TAPPS strategy is effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, TAPPS
