Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII D berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan seluruh siswa kelas VIII A berjumlah 24 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan validasi ahli pembelajaran, media dan materi, angket respon siswa, angket tanggapan guru, dan hasil tes pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dalam sistem persamaan linear dua variabel dinyatakan valid. Hasil angket respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended mendapat kategori penilaian sangat praktis dan angket tanggapan guru dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil tes belajar siswa dianalisis dengan uji hipotesis N-gain, Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran group investigation berbantuan soal open ended terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa.AbstractThis study aims to develop a group investigation learning model assisted by open ended questions to improve mathematical reflective thinking skills. The subjects in this study were all students of class VIII D totaling 26 students as the experimental class and all students of class VIII A totaling 24 students as the control class at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The instruments in this study used validation of learning experts, media and material, student response questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, and learning test results. Learning devices based on mathematical reflective thinking ability in a system of linear equations of two variables that have been compiled and declared valid. After revision according to the suggestions of the validator, and field trials are conducted. The results of the student response questionnaire to the open investigation assisted group investigation model received a very practical assessment category and the teacher's questionnaire was very practical. Student learning test results were analyzed with the N-gain hypothesis test. Based on the hypothesis test, it was found that the development of the learning model of open ended group investigation was proven effective in increasing students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' critical thinking skills by using Scaffolding based Treffinger. The use of scaffolding by teachers has many forms, which can be in the form of questions, media or text-based. This article is a review of several studies / research (meta-analysis) on the use of scaffolding in learning. Scaffolding is given in full and continuously. After students get a sufficient and correct understanding, the scaffolding will be reduced and even completely eliminated. Treffinger's learning model is a learning model that trains students to find ideas in solving problems. Critical thinking is a characteristic of higher order thinking skills that are very important to be developed in school. Critical thinking skills can be trained and developed through learning that encourages students to explore, investigate, find and solve problems through learning activities in small groups. The fact is that students still have difficulty thinking critically. One way to overcome student difficulties in critical thinking is to use Scaffolding based Treffinger.

Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out the effectiveness of the creative problem-solving learning model which observed from the students’ mathematical representative ability. The population of this research was the students of X MIA at SMA Negeri 14 Bandar Lampung in 2018/2019 academic year which distribute in seven classes. The samples of this research were the students of X MIA 1 and X MIA 2 which was chosen by using cluster random sampling technique. The research design was a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis showed the improvement of the mathematic representative ability was not more than 60% from the number of the students who followed the creative problem-solving learning model and improvement of the student's mathematic representative ability that followed the creative problem-solving learning model was higher than escalation of the students who followed conventional learning model. The concluded of this study was the creative problem-solving learning model is not effective which observed from the students’ mathematical representative ability.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kondisi kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa jika ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat resiliensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya dampak perubahan pola belajar siswa karena pandemi covid-19. Kemapuan memberikan ide yang tidak umum dan hanya digunakan oleh beberapa orang tertentu untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika disebut dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Terdapat empat indikator siswa dikatakan kreatif diantaranya adalah kelancaran, keluwesan, orisinalitas, dan kemampuan memerinci. Resiliensi matematis siswa adalah kegigihan siswa dalam menghadapi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matemtika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara menyeluruh terkait kemampuan berpikir kreatif tingkat resiliensi siswa secara lebih mendalam. 30 siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Batu Ketulis, Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021 merupakan sampel yang diambil kemudian direduksi menjadi 6 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel didasarkan oleh pertimbagan tertentu. Data dikumpulkan dengan memberikan kuisioner, soal materi bangun datar, dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kemampuan resiliensi matematis siswa, tes uraian pada materi segi empat (bangun datar), dan pedoman wawancara. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah indikator kelancaran dan keterincian sering muncul pada siswa dengan tingkat resiliensi tinggi, indikator kelancaran muncul pada siswa yang memiliki resiliensi sedang sedang, dan siswa dengan tingkat resiliensi rendah belum mampu memunculkan satupun indikator berpikir kreatif. Kata kunci: Berpikir Kreatif; Resiliensi Matematis Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe condition of students' creative thinking skills when viewed based on the level of resilience possessed by students. This research is based on the impact of changes in student learning patterns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ability to provide ideas that are not common and only used by certain people to solve mathematical problems is called the ability to think creatively. There are four indicators that students are said to be creative including fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Students' mathematical resilience is the persistence of students in dealing with problems in learning mathematics. The method used is a qualitative method with the aim of getting a comprehensive picture of students' creative thinking skills at the level of resilience in more depth. 30 students of class VII A Junior High School 1 Batu Ketulis, West Lampung in the 2020/2021 academic year are samples taken and then reduced to 6 students with using a sampling technique based on certain considerations. Data was collected by giving questionnaires, questions about data building materials, and interviews. The instrument used was a questionnaire on students' mathematical resilience abilities, a description of the rectangular material description (data structure), and interview guidelines. The conclusion obtained is that indicators of medium and detail often appear in students with high levels of resilience, indicators appear in students who have resilience, and students with low levels of resilience have not been able to bring up indicators of creative thinking.Keywords: Creatif Thinking; Mathematical Resilience

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia berbantuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) berbasis metode penemuan terbimbing yang valid dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Tahapan pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan pengembangan pembelajaran, validasi, dan uji coba lapangan awal.. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia berbantuan TIK berbasis metode penemuan terbimbing yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria valid dan praktis.Kata kunci: Multimedia; pemahaman konsep; TIK. AbstractThis research is a development research that aims to produce student worksheet assisted by multimedia based on guided discovery method which is valid and practical to improve students' conceptual understanding ability. This development stage starts from a preliminary study, the preparation of learning development, validation, and initial field trials. The population of this research is all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 school year. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the student worksheet assisted with multimedia based on the guided discovery method had valid and practical criteria.Keywords: Conceptual understanding; ICT; multimedia.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah open-ended (PBMO) bila dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Disain penelitian ini adalah disain eksperimen yang dinamakan delayed counter balanced design. Dalam penelitian ini, kelompok eksperimen memperoleh PBMO dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri Kota Bandar Lampung dengan subjek sampel adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak dua kelas dari masing-masing sekolah peringkat tinggi (SMPN 4) dan sekolah peringkat sedang (SMPN 12) yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulam bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok sampel.   Kata Kunci : PBM berbasis Open-ended, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of problem-based learning model in terms of the ability to think critically and mathematical representation of grade VIII students at a State Junior High School in Bandarlampung City. The population in this study are all students of class VIII distributed in eleven classes. The samples of this study are the students of two classes VIII whose class is selected by purposive random sampling technique. The research design is Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Mann-Whitney U non parametric test results on critical thinking and mathematical representation, indicating that H0 is rejected, thus drawn the conclusion that mathematical critical thinking and mathematical representation of students who follow PBL is higher than mathematical critical thinking and mathematical representation of students following learning conventional. The proportion test shows that the percentage of students who have critical thinking skills and mathematical representations are categorized well in the class using the PBL more than 60% of the number of students. The result of the research shows that learning with effective PBL model is viewed from critical thinking ability and student's mathematical representation Keywords:  Problem Based Learning, Critical thinking, Mathematical Representation

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk 1) Mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, 2) Menguji keefektifan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini mengacu pada prosedur Research And Development dari Borg and Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi tujuh tahap. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan N-gain ternormalisasi untuk mengetahui keefektifan LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dikategorikan baik karena terdapat peningkatan komunikasi matematis yang diukur dengan menggunakan N-gain ternormalisasi diperoleh skor rata-rata 0,760 dan LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, LKPD, Komunikasi Matematis

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD matematika dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan selfefficacy peserta didik. LKPD pembelajaran berbasis masalah ini telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, desain, dan bahasa berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, media, dan psikologi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diawali dari studi pendahuluan (analisis kebutuhan), penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 1 SMK Guna Dharma Bandar Lampung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes komunikasi matematis, dan skala self efficacy peserta didik. Tes dan skala diberikan pada saat pembelajaran terakhir (post-test only). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKPD efektif digunakan karena lebih dari 70% peserta didik memperoleh nilai lebih dari atau sama dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal pada tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, (2) self-efficacy peserta didik tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan.Kata Kunci: LKPD berbasis masalah, komunikasi matematis, self efficacy.

Abstract

This current study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the guided discovery model in increasing students' critical thinking skills and critical thinking dispositions. Each experiment and control group consisted of 34 students of grade X of one high school class in Bandar Lampung city. The data were obtained through mathematical critical thinking skills test and critical thinking dispositions scale. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to obtain a comprehensive description of the impact of learning on the increase in both skills. The results showed that the increase of students’ critical thinking skills and critical thinking dispositions after learning was in the effective category. Other finding showed that the use of a contextual problem in the beginning of learning could trigger students to activate their prior knowledge. In this way, students used some strategies and made an appropriate conclusion confidently. This study suggested that the guided discovery model can be an alternative to improve students' critical thinking skills and critical thinking dispositions.
