This qualitative and descriptive research was aimed to describe the disposition of the students critical thinking mathematical in Scientific Socratic learning. The subject in this research were students of class VII-L of Junior High School 20 Bandar Lampung odd semester in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about disposition of students critical thinking mathematical wich were taken by field notes, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used three stages such as reduction, presentation, and conclusion of data. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded the students who have high, middle and low mathematical ability can lead to the critical thinking of disposition in Scientific Socratic learning on materials Linier Equations and Inequations material One Variabel. The dominant indicator of disposition students critical thinking mathematical appear is open-minded indicators.Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-L SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif mengenai disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dikumpulkan melalui catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan antara lain reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan matematis tinggi, sedang dan rendah ternyata dapat memunculkan disposisi berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan metode Socrates Saintifik pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linier Satu Variabel. Indikator disposisi berpikir kritis matematis yang dominan muncul adalah indikator berpikiran terbuka.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, kualitatif, metode socrates, pendekatan saintifik
