<![CDATA[This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectivenessof theTAPPS learning strategy viewed by students communication mathematical ability.This research used one shot case study design.The population of this research was all of studentsof grade 7th of SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Raman in the academic year of 2014/2015.The sample of this research was students in VII-A class which was chosen by purposive sampling technique.This research concluded that learning with TAPPS strategy was not effective viewed by students communication mathematical ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan strategi TAPPS ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan one shot case study design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Raman. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan strategi TAPPS tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, komunikasi matematis, strategi TAPPS]]>
