Abstract

Abstract. Computer-mediated Synectics Instruction Model as an Effort to Increase Creative Thinking of Gifted Elementary School Students. This research aims at developing synectics learning model that can improve the creative thinking skills of  talented elementary school students. The first year of this study focused on the development and validation of model. The results showed 1) computer-based synectics learning is needed to enhance the creativity of gifted students, 2) the developed computer-based synectics learning model consists of rational, goal, scope, objectives, basic working assumptions/principles, implementation procedures, evaluation of program, and the development of teachers’ and students’ guides. Abstrak. Model Pembelajaran Synectics dengan Media Komputer sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Cara Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Berbakat di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran synectics yang dapat meningkatkan cara berpikir kreatif siswa berbakat di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian tahun pertama difokuskan pada pengembangan dan validasi model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) pembelajaran synectics berbasis komputer sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa berbakat, (2) model pembelajaran synectics berbasis komputer yang dikembangkan, terdiri atas: rasional, tujuan, ruang lingkup, sasaran, asumsi dasar/prinsip kerja, prosedur pelaksanaan, evaluasi program, dan pengembangan  panduan guru dan siswa. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran synectic, media komputer, berpikir kreatif
