Abstract

Abstrak :Secara umum tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif, Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi langsung, dan teknik analisis yang dilakukan adalah persentase. Hasil penelitian terhadap aktivitas fisik siswa dari penelitian awal, Siklus 1 dan Siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari rata-rata tiap aspek yaitu 37,96%, siklus 1 rata-rata sebesar 75,46% terjadi peningkatan sebesar 37,5% kemudian meningkat lagi pada siklus 2 rata-rata 93,99%terjadi peningkatan sebesar 18,53%.Dengan demikian selisih peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada penelitian awal dikategorikan rendah, siklus I sedang dan siklus II tinggi. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas Belajar, Metode Demonstrasi, IPA   Abstract: The general objective of this research is to describe the improvement of student learning activities using the method demonstration on science teaching in elementary school third grade . Forms of research is descriptive research , data collection techniques such as direct observation techniques , and analytical techniques performed is a percentage . The study of physical activity students from early research , Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 has increased the average seen from every aspect , namely 37.96 % , 1 cycle average of 75.46 % an increase of 37.5 % and then increased again in cycle 2 93.99 % on average an increase of 18.53 % . Thus the difference in students' increased activity in early studies categorized as low , medium first cycle and the second cycle high.  Keywords: Activity Learning, Methods Demonstration, IPA
