Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kreativitas siswa dalam pengajuan soal ditinjau dari gaya kognitif pada materi bangun segi empat kelas VII SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Subjek ditentukan melalui teknik proportional stratified random sampling yang berjumlah 6 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa gaya kognitif field independent lebih kreatif daripada siswa gaya kognitif field dependent. Terdapat 3 siswa field dependent berada pada tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif berkategori kurang kreatif. Sedangkan siswa gaya kognitif field independent terdapat 2 siswa berada pada tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kategori sangat kreatif dan 1 siswa berada pada tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif berkategori  kreatif.   Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Pengajuan Soal, Gaya Kognitif.   Abstract: This research aimed to describe the students creativity of problem posing in terms of cognitive style on quadrangles material in seventh garde of SMP. It research used descriptive method. The subject in this research is students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The subject  determined by proportional stratified random sampling were six students. Collecting data tools used is a test, questionnaire and interview guide. The result showed that the student with cognitive style field independent are more creative than the student with field dependent cognitive style. There were three students with cognitive style field dependent at the level of creative thinking abilities categorized less creative. While students with cognitive style field independent, there were two students are on the level of creative thinking abilities categorized as very creative and a students at the level of creative thinking ability creative category.   Keywords: Creativity, Problem Posing, Cognitive Style.
