Abstract

Hakikatnya, proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dan menarik bagi peserta didik dapat mendorong untuk mengoptimalisasi potensi yang dimilikinya. Namun sebaliknya, jika pendidik yang melaksanakan proses pembelajaran bersikap kurang kreatif dapat dibayangkan apa yang terjadi? Para peserta didik berinteriaksi dalam proses pembelajaran bukan diibaratkan seperti botol kosong, melainkan mereka sudah membawa nilai-nilai yang dibawa dari lingkungan keluarga maupun dari masyarakatnya. Pembelajaran matematika kreatif berbasis theory of tree dan nilai karakter merupakan pembelajaran yang menciptakan suasana belajar efektif dan menyenangkan serta membangun sikap mental positif dengan mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan nilai-nilai karakter. Pembangunan sikap mental positif dalam setiap kegiatan belajar dengan mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai tersebut menggunakan media hasil karya masyarakat. Pengoptimalan dalam mengembangkan potensi anakseperti: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, berfikirkritis, berfikirkreatif, pola pikir, sikap dan tindakan yang positif, berkomitmen, sabar, tabah, dan memiliki keterbukaan untuk melakukan relasi positif dengan pihak lain atas dasar kepercayaan, sertaselalu belajar dari yang terbaik. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran disposisi matematis mahasiswa semestes V Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Untan, khususnya mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar. Untuk memperoleh gambaran tersebut diterapkan melalui pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar hasil pengembangan. Secara khusus, tujuan penelitian adalah: (1) Mengembangkan materi bahan ajar sehingga mahasiswa memperoleh wawasan yang fokus sesuai materi yang dikembangkan; dan (2) Mengungkapkan dan medeskripsikan disposisi matematis mahasiswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research methods) dengan komponen uji coba produk. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang saling melengkapi. Pembelajaran matematika yang dilengkapi dengan bahan ajar merupakan pembelajaran yang menciptakan suasana belajar efektif dan menyenangkan serta membangun sikap mental positif. Bahan ajar yang dikembangakan memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kepercyaan diri mahasiswa dalam memahami materi ajar. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, disposisi matematis.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out how students’ mathematical communication skills in solving questions on set material that have high, medium and low learning motivation in SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. The mmethod in this research is descriptive qualitative descriptive research form. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and direct communication. Data collection tools used in this study were questionnaires, written tests and interviews. Obtained that student with high learning motivation are able to ekspress and understand mathematical ideas, and can use mathematical notation and draw venn diagrams. Students with learning motivation are able to ekspress mathematical ideas in the form of writing set notations, but they are not quite right in describing venn diagrams, while students are less able to ekspress and understand mathematical ideas so that they cannot draw venn diagrams. Students with low learning motivation find ini difficult to understand the commands of the questions and are less able to solve the given problems.  Keywords : Learning Motivation, Mathematical Communication Skills

Abstract

AbstractThe pupose of this research is to describe the relationship between: 1) self efficacy with study result mathematics, 2) achievement motivation with study result 3) independence with study result mathematics, 4) self efficacy and achievement motivation together with study result mathematics, 5) self efficacy and independence together with study result mathematics, 6) achievement motivation and independence together with study result mathematics, 7) self efficacy, achievement motivation, independence together with mathematics 5th Grade of 06 Public Elementary School, South Pontianak. This research which was conducted a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Theresearch type is correlational study. This research was conducted in the A5thandB5thof 06 Public Elementary School, South Pontianak. The subject of this population research with total number 50 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis techniques were performed with descriptive statistical analysis, while to determine the relationship between the three variables, namely self efficacy, achievement motivation and independence with mathematics study resultused through calculations with simple correlations and multiple correlations. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between: 1) self efficacy with study result mathematics of 0.450, 2) achievement motivation with study result mathematics of 0.573, 3) independence with study result mathematics of 0.543, 4) self efficacy and achievement motivation together with study result mathematics of 0.595, 5) self efficacy and independence together with study result mathematics of 0.600, 6) achievement motivation and independence together with study result mathematics of 0.640, 7) self efficacy, achievement motivation, independence together with mathematics of 0.651. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Achievement Motivation, Independence, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe fact in math education is the student’s adaptive reasoning ability that is still low. Adaptive reasoning ability are influenced by some factors, one of them is student’s learning style. Therefore, adaptive reasoning ability should be analyzed based on student’s learning style. This research aim to describe the adaptive reasoning ability based on learning style in arithmetic sequence and series at SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research method use descriptive method with case study. The subject in this research are eight student’s from all learning style. The result of data analysis showed that the adaptive reasoning ability are different depending on their learning style. Student’s who have diverger learning style can fulfill one indicator of adaptive reasoning ability such as propose hypothesis or conjecture. Student’s who have assimilator learning style can fulfill three indicators of adaptive reasoning ability such as propose hypothesis or conjecture, give reason of the given answer, and make conclusion from a statement. Student’s who have converger learning style can fulfill all indicators of adaptive reasoning ability. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out whether the application of  Problem based learning was effective in teaching a statistics materials to the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This research is classified as a pre-experimental and conducted in form of one case study or post-test only design. The population of this research were 162 students of eleventh grade, and the samples were 40 students. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample. The result of the data analysis showed that the study result was not reached, learning activity was quite active and student gave a positive respons. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the application of  Problem based learning was  effective in teaching a statistic materials  to the grade XI 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya because the study result was reached and learning activity was quite active.Keyword: Problem Based Learning, Response, Student Activities

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know and to describe the effectiveness of Creative problem solving learning  model  on rank and series of arithmetic material in grade X of SMK Budi Luhur Sintang. The researcher using pre-experimental method in the form of quantitative research. The participant of this research was 31 students of class X AKL SMK Budi Luhur Sintang. The implementation of teachers class management is 3,21  in the first meeting and declined to 3,08  in the second meeting. The student activity is 66% in the first meeting and  improved to 68% on the second meeting. The result showed that the students learning mastery is achieved classically 78,28%. On the other hand, students responds towards Creative Problem Solving learning model In a good category  From  the  collected  data,  it  can  be  concluded  that  Creative Problem Solving learning model  technique to be applied on teaching rank and series of arithmetic material in grade X of SMK Budi Luhur Sintang.Keywords : Creative Problem Solving, Effectiveness, Rank and Series of Arithmetic

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the level of thinking of students based on Van Hiele's Theory on the material obtained rectangular flat in terms of self-confidence. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were six eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Pakedai. The data collection techniques used in this  study were and interview, wich were given to the chosen subjects based self-confidence categories. The results of data analysis showed that there were two students who were at the level of visualization, three students who were at the level of analysis, and one student who was at the level of abstraction. The level of thinking students in visualization shows in terms of the confidence obtained by students catching a rectangle from the interpretation of the interpretive form without understanding the regularity of the shape, using the properties that are not appropriate in accordance with determining the quadrilateral. When the analysis is obtained students can tell about how to get the properties that appear at the top can explain the nature of getting special. At the same time, student are not able to connect the same properties between one quadrilateral build and another. Keywords : Self Confidence, Thinking Level, Van Hiele Theory

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil dan proses pembelajaran mahasiswa tentang materi Bilangan dan Lambang Bilangan melalui penerapan Model Pembelajaran ARIAS Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan dengan subyek penelitiannya mahasiswa semester tiga S-1 PGSD FKIP Untan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar maupun kuliatas proses pembelajarannya, dan tanggapan/respon mahasiswa melalui angket meunjukkan bahwa model pemebelajaran ARIAS, dapat menanamkan percaya diri, membangkitkan semangat/ minat dalam belajar, menumbuhkan rasa dihargai/bangga untuk menyajikan atau mempresen-tasikan materi dalam rangka untuk menguasai konsep-konsep pada materi yang dipelajari.Kata Kunci: Kualitas hasil, Kualitas proses, Pembelajaran ARIAS

Abstract

Globalisasi merupakan suatu proses penyebaran hasil karya dan pemikiran suatu budaya sehingga melembaga dalam kebudayaan di seluruh dunia. Era globalisasi membawa berbagai perubahan yang menyentuh sampai pada dasar kehidupan manusia. Perubahan tersebut disebabkan oleh peningkatan kualitas hidup, pelestarian lingkungan hidup serta perjuangan hak asasi manusia.
