<![CDATA[AbstractThis study discusses the technical development officer of the library MAN 2 Pontianak. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the school in improving the quality of library staff, to find out what are the constraints faced by the school when doing development on the library staff.In this study the researcher uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Collecting data is done through interview, observation, and documentation in the library MAN 2 Pontianak west Kalimantan.In the results of this study indicate that efforts to improve the quality of the library staff through the development of insight in the form of seminars and training held by the central government, the constraints faced at the time of the development of the quality of the library staff is the age of the officers who are already in the productive again. Results to be achieved from this development is to produce officers of the library which can run the job in accordance with the vision and mission agencies.
