Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model word square pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dan terjadi peningkatan disetiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah (a) Kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3,16, siklus II 3,34, dan siklus III 3,71. (b) Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3,32, siklus II 3,47, dan siklus III 3,73. (c) Hasil belajar peserta didik. siklus I yaitu 72,86, siklus II 78,93, dan siklus III 87,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model word square dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V A Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan.   Kata Kunci: Penerapan, Hasil Belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Model Word Square Abstract: This research aims to describle application of word square models in the teaching social sciences to increase lerning outcomes of learners in the class five State Elementary School 35 Pontianak Sounth. The method used in this research is descriptive method whit the form of classroom action research. This research was conducted as three cycles and an increase in each cycles. With the result obtained are. (a) the ability of teachers compile plan learning from the first cycle is 3,16, second cycle is 3,34, and third cycle is 3,71. (b) the ability of teachers to implement the learning from the first cycle is 3,32, second cycle is 3,47, and third cycle is 3,73. (c) the result of learners learning first cycle is 72,86, the second cycle is 78,93, and the third cycle is 87,00. This show that the use of word square models can improve learning outcome of learners in the class five State Elementari School 35 Pontianak Sounth.   Keywords: Application, Learning Outcomes, Social Sciences, Models Word Square
