Abstract

Abstract The problem in this research is "Is there any effect on student learning outcomes in mathematics taught by cooperative model Jigsaw technique in class IV State Elementary School 09 North Pontianak ?." This study aims to analyze how much influence the use of the cooperative model jigsaw technique to results student learning in mathematics in grade IV State Elementary School 09 North Pontianak. In this research, the average test end control class was 62.10 and the average final test experimental classes is 78.21. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained t = 4.206 for 56 hp and a = 5% was obtained table = 1.660, which means thitung (4.206)> t table (1.660), then Ha accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES) ES gained 0,99 (height criteria). It was concluded that use of the cooperative model jigsaw technique provides high impact on student learning outcomes in mathematics in grade IV State Elementary School 09 North Pontianak.
