<![CDATA[AbstractThis research aimed to know the influence of lesson model Discovery Learning by using Biocard on the lesson Classification of Living Organism for grade VII in SMPN 23 Pontianak. The research method was Quasi Experimental Design with research design Noneequivalent Control Group Design. Technique of data collecting used was intact group. Grade VII F as the experiment class and grade VII G as control class. The instrument was 25 numbers of multiple choice test. Based on the data analysis, it has been gained the average of students study result which have been taught by using Discovery Learning using Biocard was 20.13, meanwhile the students which have been taught by using conventional learning was 17.61. From the t test, it has been gained t-value > t-table was 2.979 > 1.672, which mean there were differences between students study result that have been taught by using Discovery Learning using Biocard and student that have been taught by using conventional learning. The effect size number that has been gained was 0.7 and influence Discovery Learning using Biocard on the lesson Classification of Living Organism result was 25.80%Keyword: Classification of Living Organism, Discovery Learning]]>
