Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan (Ksp) di kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak melalui model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak yang terdiri dari 24 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Prediction, Observation, Explanation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 53,46% pada siklus I menjadi 66,65% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan dari 58,33% pada siklus I menjadi 82,61% pada siklus II.   Kata Kunci: POE, Aktivitas, Hasil  Belajar. Abstrack: This research aims to decide the improvement of the activity and result of students’ learning on solubility meterial and result of the times of solubility (Ksp) in XI IPA’s class in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak by using Prediction, Observation, Explanation learning model. The research method that used is a classroom action research. The subjects of this research was the students of XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak that consist of 24 students. The instruments used in this research was observation paper, the guide of interview and learning’s result test. The result of this research showed that the implementation of prediction, observation, explanation’s learning model can improve students’ learning activity by percentage of mastery about 53,46% in the first circle became 66,65% in the second circle. The result of students learning showed the improvement of mastery percentage from 58,33% in first circle became 82,61% in second circle. Keywords: POE, Activities, Learning Outcomes.
