Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dan metode konvensional serta besarnya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI terhadap hasil belajar materi ikatan kimia kelas X di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X E  sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X D sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diperoleh dengan teknik purpossive sampling. Motivasi siswa dianalisis menggunakan Independent Samples T-test dan hasil belajar menggunakan U-Mann Whitney. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan  hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dan metode konvensional. Pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe TAI memberikan pengaruh sebesar 15,91 % terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Team Assisted Individualization, Ikatan Kimia Abstract: The purposes of this research were to determine differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students taught using TAI Cooperative learning model and conventional method and effect of applying TPS Cooperative learning model toward learning outcomes on chemical bond materials of X Grade of St. Francis of Assisi Pontianak students. Quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design was used as research method. The samples were X E students as control class and X D as experimental class. Those samples were determined with purpossive sampling technique. Motivations and learning outcome of students were analyzed using Independent Samples T-test and U-Mann Whitney test. The result of data analysis showed that there were differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students taught using TAI cooperatif learning model and conventional method. TAI Cooperative learning model gave 15,91% effect  on increasing students learning outcomes. Keyword: Team Assisted Individualization, Chemical Bond

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh strategi REACT terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri 5 pada materi larutan penyangga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diperoleh dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor posttest kelas kontrol adalah 38,52 dan rata-rata skor posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 52,78. Berdasarkan  uji U-Mann Whitney, diperoleh Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) = 0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas eksperimen pada materi larutan penyangga. Hasil dari perhitungan effect size adalah 1,3 yang berarti strategi REACT memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Strategi REACT, Hasil Belajar, Larutan Penyangga   Abstract: The Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of REACT strategy toward learning outcome of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak students on buffer solution material. The study was quasi-experimental with the study design was nonequivalent control group design. The study samples were the students of XI grade of IPA 3 as experimental class and XI grade of IPA 4 as control class that was determined by cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected by using learning outcome test. The results of the study showed that the average score of posttest control group was 38.52 and the average score of posttest experimental class was 52.78. According to U-Mann Whitney test, Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) was 0.000 which meant that there was a difference in learning outcome between the control class and experimental class students on buffer solution material. The result of the calculation of effect size was 1.3, which meant REACT strategy provided a major influence on improving student learning outcome.   Keywords: REACT Strategy, Learning Outcome, Buffer Solution

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh  model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar materi larutan penyangga siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalen Control Group Desain. Teknik cluster random sampling digunakan dalam menentukan sampel dan diperoleh sampel, yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 dan kelas XI MIA 3. Alat Pengumpul data adalah tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil olahan data, rata-rata skor posttest kelas ekperimen 68,64 dan hasil rata-rata skor posttest kelas kontol 62,87. Hasil uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan metode konvesional  dengan siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi larutan penyangga. Penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar, larutan penyangga. Abstrack: This study aims ed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes buffer material on the eleventh grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The method of this study is experimental research in the manner of research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Retrieval technique is cluster random sampling used in determining the sample and samples, classes namely XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 3 class. The data collection tool is achievement test. Based on the results of data processing, average score results of posttest in experiment class is 68,64 and average score results of posttest in control class is 62,87. The test result of U-Mann Whitney lobtainable that differences in learning outcomes between students in contro class taught using conventional methods with the experimental class taught using a model of guided inquiry on the material about buffer. The use of guided inquiry learning model contribute the influences amounted to 27,04% towards improving student learning outcomes. Keywords: learning model, guided inquiry, learning outcomes, buffer.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa suplemen buku ajar biokimia berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Kalimantan Barat pada submateri gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat. Pengembangan suplemen buku ajar biokimia berbasis kearifan lokal masyarakat Kalimantan Barat berdasarkan langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall. Sampel uji lapangan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kelayakan produk dan angket tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap tingkat keterpakaian produk. Saran-saran hasil uji kelayakan dan uji keterpakaian sebagai dasar untuk penyempurnaan produk. Berdasarkan analisis hasil angket kelayakan diperoleh skor total akhir sebesar 82 yang berarti bahwa suplemen ini termasuk ke dalam kategori layak dengan predikat baik. Hasil uji lapangan awal untuk tingkat keterpakaian produk diperoleh persentase sebesar 75,94% dengan kriteria tinggi untuk digunakan. Hasil uji lapangan utama untuk tingkat keterpakaian produk diperoleh persentase sebesar 73,22% dengan kriteria tinggi untuk digunakan.   Kata kunci: pengembangan, suplemen buku ajar, kearifan lokal Abstract: This research and development aims to produce product supplement biochemistry teaching material book in carbohydrate metabolism disorders submaterial based on local wisdom West Kalimantan’s peoples . The development supplement biochemistry teaching material book in based on local wisdom West Kalimantan’s peoples based on measures of research and development by Borg & Gall. Field test sample in this research was determined by purposive sampling. Data collected by using a feasibility product questionnaire and student response questionnaire to the usability level product. The suggestions of feasibility test results and usability test results as the basis for product improvement. Based on the analysis of the results of the feasibility questionnaire obtained the final total score of 82, which means that the supplement is included into the category of decent with a good rating. Preliminary field testing results for usability level product obtained a percentage of 75.94 % with a high criteria for use. Main field testing results for usability level product obtained a percentage of 73.22 % with a high criteria for use.   Keywords: development, supplement teaching material book, local wisdom

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine feasibility and student response to worksheet of instrumentation chemical practicum based on local wisdom. It is developed based on test results the expert (expert judgment) and field trials. This research method was the research and development (R&D) which adopt a development model Borg & Gall. Subject of this research is a chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom that tested the students of Chemistry Education FKIP Tanjungpura University in early trials and major field trials. The results of data analisis showed that chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom is very proper to use in learning of the content feasibility of 93,33%, presentation feasibility of 91,67%, linguistic feasibility of 93,33%, chart feasibility of 91,67%. The student response initial field trials of 86,16%, and the main field trials of 81,04%. It showed that the level of chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom belongs to very high criteria.    Keywords: Student worksheet, Local wisdom, UV-Visible spectrophotometry

Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this study are to describe the scientific work skill of students before and after the guided inquiry learning model is applied to the material environmental pollution and to determine the different scientific work skills of students MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh academic year 2017/2018. This study uses a pre-experimental research design one group pretest-posttest. The sample in this study were students of class VII B by purposive sampling technique. The research technique of data collecting is a measurement technique using pretest-posttest, direct observation and interview. After data processing, the results show that the pretest scientific work skills of students that are in the category of  less skilled, and unskilled respectively by 12.12% and 87.88%, while the results show that the posttest scientific work skills of students that are in the category of highly skilled, skilled, and less skilled in a row amounted to 9.38%, 78.12%, and 12.5%. Wilcoxon test results showed there were differences of scientific work skills before and after taught with guided inquiry. Keyword: Scienific Work Skill, Guided Inquiry, Enviromental Pollution

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research and development was to produce biochemistry II module on carbohydrate metabolism material for chemistry education student of Tanjungpura University. Development of biochemistry II on carbohydrate metabolism material for chemistry education student of Tanjungpura University developed based on according to Borg and Gall procedure. The subject of this research was biochemistry II module which were tested on chemistry education student FKIP Untan on limited test and main test. Data collecting tool using product feasibility questionnaire and students response questionnaire through the level of product usage. According to result feasibility questionnaire analysis, biochemistry II module was very feasible to use in learning in term of content feasibility gave 93.33%, presentation feasibility gave 88.33%, linguistic feasibility gave 91.66%, and graphic feasibility gave 91.66%. The result of limited test for level of product usage gave 79.75% which was  high category. The result of main test for level of product usage gave 83.19% which was very high category to use in learning process.Keywords: Module, Biochemistry, Development

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Melawi pada teori asam basa sebelum dan setelah diberi pembelajaran menggunakan inkuiri terbimbing serta memberikan gambaran profil keterampilan berpikir kritis. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA 1 yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diukur menggunakan tes tertulis berbentuk essai dan wawancara. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxondiperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis sebelum dan sesudah diberi pembelajaran dengan inkuiri terbimbing. Sebelum diberikan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing sebanyak 96.29% siswa berada pada kategori tidak terampil. setelah diberi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing sebanyak 62.96% siswa berada pada kategori terampil. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan, Berpikir Kritis, Hasil Belajar, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Teori Asam Basa Abstract: The aim of this study to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Melawi on acid-base theory before and after being given the use of guided inquiry learning as well as provide an overview of critical thinking skills profile. This study is pre-experimental study with were students of class XI IPA 1 totaling 27 students. Results of learning and critical thinking skills of students were measured using the form of essays written tests and interviews. The result of statistical test, there are differences in learning outcomes and critical thinking skills before and after given a guided inquiry learning. Before being given treatment with guided inquiry learning model as much as 96.29% of students are in the unskilled category. Abstract

 AbstractThe aims of this study were to determine the level of feasibility of chemistry student worksheet based comic graphic media was developed based on expert judgement and the level of readability based on field trial. The form of this study was research and development that adopted Borg and Gall?s development model. The subject of this study was chemistry student worksheet based comic graphic media which was tried on 9 students of SMAN 10 Pontianak in preliminary trial and 36 students of SMAN 4, 8, and 10 Pontianak in field trial. Data collection instruments which is used are questionnaire of feasibility and questionnaire of students response. The result of processing data shows that chemistry student worksheet was developed feasible to be used in learning, it was reviewed from percentage of content feasibility was of 90,55%, presentation feasibility was of 91,84%, language feasibility was of 76,67%, and graphic feasibility was of 81,54%. Based on calculation of the percentage of student questionnaire response, the level of readability in preliminary trial was of 80,17% and field trial was of 75,96%. It showed that the level of chemistry student worksheet based comic graphic media belongs to high criteria.    Keywords: student worksheet, graphic media, feasibility, readability, buffer solution

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman dan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga kelas XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 32 siswa. Instrument penelitian adalah Two-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman siswa pada konsep larutan penyangga adalah: 1)pengertian larutan penyangga pada pemahaman utuh (PU) (31,25%) dan tidak paham (TP) termasuk kategori rendah (28,13%), pemahaman parsial dengan miskonsepsi (PPDM) kategori cukup (56,25%), 2)perhitungan pH dalam pembuatan larutan penyangga PU (29,69%) dan TP kategori rendah (37,45%), PPDM kategori cukup (47,66%) 3)perhitungan pH larutan penyangga dengan penambahan sedikit asam atau basa PU kategori sangat rendah (2,74%) dan TP kategori rendah (36,13%), PPDM kategori tinggi (61,09%), 4)fungsi larutan penyangga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari PU kategori sangat rendah (7,82%), PPDM (46,87%) dan TP kategori cukup (45,31%). Tingkat pemahaman siswa pada materi larutan penyangga termasuk katergori rendah. Kata kunci : Two-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the understanding and level of understanding of the concept of students at grade material buffer solution XI Kemala Bhayangkari 1. This study uses descriptive method with research subjects in class XI IPA 2 as many as 32 students. Is a research instrument Two-Tier Multiple Choice Instrument Diagnostic and interviews. The results show the level of understanding of students on the concept of buffer solution are: 1) understanding the complete understanding of the buffer solution (CU) (31.25%) and does not understand (NU) including low category (28.13%), a partial understanding of the misconceptions (PUM) category enough (56.25%), 2) the calculation of buffer solution pH in the manufacture of CU (29.69%) and NU low category (37.45%), PUM enough category (47.66%) 3) calculation of pH buffer solution with the addition of a little acid or base CU category is very low (2.74%) and NU low category (36.13%), PUM high category (61.09%), 4) function of the buffer solution in everyday life CU category is very low (7.82%), PUM (46.87%) and enough NU category (45.31%).
