Wagino, M.Pd Tunarungu memiliki dampak pada kemampuan akademik anak sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya penguasaan kompetensi konsep pecahan sederhana pada anak tunarungu. Oleh karena itu, untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang efektif dapat membantu proses pemahaman konsep pecahan sederhana pada anak tunarungu, salah satu model yang dapat diterapkan adalah model Discovery Learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Discovery Learning dalam penguasaan kompetensi konsep pecahan sederhana pada anak tunarungu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-experiment dan menggunakan rancangan the one group pre test post test. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil nilai pre test adalah sebesar 37,2 dan rata-rata nilai post test adalah 74,3. Hasil uji Wilcoxon yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil Zhitung sebesar 4,78. Dan nilai Ztabel dengan nilai kritis 5% (untuk pengujian 2 sisi) adalah 1,96. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, artinya hasil pretest dan posttest anak pada penguasaan kompetensi konsep pecahan sederhana terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, sehingga ada pengaruh penerapan model Discovery Learning dalam penguasaan kompetensi konsep pecahan sederhana pada anak tunarungu kelas III SDLB di Blitar. Therefore, to solve the problem required an effective learning model can help the process of understanding the concept of simple fractions in children with hearing impairment, one model that can be applied is the model Discovery Learning. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of the application of the model of Discovery Learning in the mastery of the concept of simple fractional concepts in children with hearing impairment. The research method used was quantitative research method with pre-experiment approach and used the one group pre test post test. The results showed that the average pre test result was 37.2 and the average post test was 74.3. Wilcoxon test results that have been done to obtain the result of calculation of 4.78. And the value of Ztabel with a critical value of 5% (for 2-sided test) is 1.96. From these results it can be seen that Ha accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning the result of pretest and posttest of children on the mastery of simple fractional concept competence there is a significant difference, so there is influence of the implementation of the model of Discovery Learning in the mastery of the concept of simple fractions in children with hearing impairment class III SDLB in Blitar .
