<![CDATA[Matematika masih dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang sulit dipahami dan ditakuti oleh mayoritas siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan komunikasi matematis (solving math methods). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif, berupa data hasil observasi dan hasil tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 1 Pamekasan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah dalam solmath berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa yang dilihat dari penyelesaian masalah yang dikerjakan. Kata kunci : pembelajaran berbasis masalah, komunikasi matematis Mathematics is still considered as difficult subject for the majority of students to be understood. The purpose of this study is to improve students' thinking ability in solving mathematical problems through problem-based learning with mathematical communication (solving math methods). This research is a classroom action research. The data in this study is quantitative, in form of observational data and test results. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-A in SMP 1 Pamekasan.
