Abstract

The analysis Confidence and Independence of Teachers ofMathematics Teaching in Primary Schools (Case Study of ElementarySchool Fourth Grade Teacher Negri in Kab. Bandung). The purpose of thisstudy is to describe how teachers' beliefs about the mastery of the materialmathematics in elementary school and how the independence of the teachers about the readiness of teaching mathematics in elementary school. The method used is a qualitative research with descriptive research design. The population in the study were all fourth grade teacher at state elementary school in the district Bandung. The sampling technique using random cluster sampling, the sampling is done by selecting a sample based on clusters (groups) rather than on the individual. Subjects experienced two types of mathematical thinking processes beliefs that is thinking instrumental beliefs and thinking process relational Instrumental. Instrumental relational thinking process consists of four parts, namely, (1) strong relational strong instrumental, (2) strong relational instrumental weak, (3) weak relational strong instrumental (4) weak relational weak instrumental. Analisis Keyakinan dan Kemandirian Guru tentang Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar (Studi Kasus Terhadap Guru Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negri di Kab. Bandung). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana keyakinan guru tentang penguasaan materipembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar dan bagaimana kemandirian guru tentang kesiapan mengajar matematika di sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru kelas IV di salah satu SD Negeri di Kab. Badung, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dengan memilih sampel yang didasarkan pada cluster (kelompok) bukan pada individunya. Subjek mengalami dua jenis proses berfikir keyakinan matematika yaitu berfikir instrumental dan proses berfikir Relasional Instrumental. Proses berfikir relasional instrumental terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu, (1) relasional kuat instrumental kuat, (2) relasional kuat instrumental lemah, (3) relasional lemah instrumental kuat, (4) relasional lemah instrumental lemah.
