Abstract

The analysis Confidence and Independence of Teachers ofMathematics Teaching in Primary Schools (Case Study of ElementarySchool Fourth Grade Teacher Negri in Kab. Bandung). The purpose of thisstudy is to describe how teachers' beliefs about the mastery of the materialmathematics in elementary school and how the independence of the teachers about the readiness of teaching mathematics in elementary school. The method used is a qualitative research with descriptive research design. The population in the study were all fourth grade teacher at state elementary school in the district Bandung. The sampling technique using random cluster sampling, the sampling is done by selecting a sample based on clusters (groups) rather than on the individual. Subjects experienced two types of mathematical thinking processes beliefs that is thinking instrumental beliefs and thinking process relational Instrumental. Instrumental relational thinking process consists of four parts, namely, (1) strong relational strong instrumental, (2) strong relational instrumental weak, (3) weak relational strong instrumental (4) weak relational weak instrumental. Analisis Keyakinan dan Kemandirian Guru tentang Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar (Studi Kasus Terhadap Guru Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negri di Kab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana keyakinan guru tentang penguasaan materipembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar dan bagaimana kemandirian guru tentang kesiapan mengajar matematika di sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru kelas IV di salah satu SD Negeri di Kab. Badung, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan dengan memilih sampel yang didasarkan pada cluster (kelompok) bukan pada individunya. Subjek mengalami dua jenis proses berfikir keyakinan matematika yaitu berfikir instrumental dan proses berfikir Relasional Instrumental. Proses berfikir relasional instrumental terdiri dari empat bagian yaitu, (1) relasional kuat instrumental kuat, (2) relasional kuat instrumental lemah, (3) relasional lemah instrumental kuat, (4) relasional lemah instrumental lemah.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Pengabdian kepada Msayarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru dalam meningkatkan peran mereka sebagai manager kelas pada proses pembelajaran daring melalui refleksi pengajaran. Hal ini didasarkan pada temuan peneliti di lapangan yang menemukan berbagai masalah dan kendala yang dihadapi guru, khususnya guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris SMPIT Tamaddun, Tangerang Selatan. Masalah tersebut diantaranya adalah kekurang efektifan proses KBM dikarenakan minimnya interaksi antara guru dan peserta didik, ketidakatifan peserta didik selama proses belajar, serta berbagai gangguan teknis seperti keterbatasan perangkat maupun kuota internet. Oleh sebab itu, guru yang salah satunya memegang peranan sebagai manager kelas tidak dapat secara maksimal mengelola kelas agar dapat berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Dengan melibatkan 1 orang guru Bahasa Indonesia dan 1 orang guru Bahasa Inggris, kegiatan PKM ini ditawarkan oleh peneliti dengan tujuan agar guru dapat berperan dengan lebih maksimal sehingga proses pengajaran dapat menjadi lebih efektif. Hal ini sangat penting dikarenakan pengajaran yang efektif akan sangat membantu peserta didik dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang baik. PKM ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi berupa jurnal refleksi guru dalam proses pengumpulan data. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa guru merasa sangat terbantu dengan kegiatan refleksi yang mereka lakukan setiap selesai kelas dimana pada pertemuan kelas berikut mereka dapat mempertahankan apa yang telah dianggap baik dan meningkatkan hal-hal yang masih dirasa kurang pada pertemuan kelas sebelumnya. Hal ini dibuktikan juga oleh hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan dimana setelah melakukan refleksi, guru lebih berperan dalam mengelola kelas dan proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih aktif dan efektif.

Abstract

The Implementation of online thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic created significant obstacles for teachers, students and parents. This research is focused on the implementation of thematic learning in elementary schools. This research is focused on the implementation of thematic learning in elementary schools in the DKI Jakarta, Depok, and Tangerang areas, with research sub-focus: 1) Teachers' understanding of implementing thematic learning in elementary schools, 2) Teacher obstacles in implementing thematic during a pandemic. Research using descriptive qualitative research. The survey was conducted on 48 teacher respondents, namely class I and II teachers in five schools in the Jakarta, Depok and Tangerang areas. Data collection was carried out through focus group discussions between researchers, teachers and school principals. The results showed that the teacher's constraints in carrying out thematic learning were teaching materials, time constraints, and when online learning was not optimal so that when offline they had to repeat lessons given online. The implication of this research is that it can provide information and knowledge for education practitioners in implementing ideal online learning and obstacles during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that it can be a way out if similar obstacles occur in the future.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to know the planning of integrated thematic learning of character values, (2) to know the implementation of integrated thematic learning of character values, and (3) to know the evaluation of integrated thematic learning of character values ​​at MI Ruhul Ulum. The research method used descriptive qualitative with location in class II A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ruhul Ulum Jl. Kelapa Hijau No. 100, RT. 09/RW.03, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. The research was conducted from February to May 2022 or even semester 2021/2022. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps of the data analysis technique are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of the data was checked through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The results of the study concluded that: (1) In planning thematic learning, the lesson plans used have shown the integration of character values ​​in thematic learning, (2) In the implementation of thematic learning, character values ​​that often appear are religious character values, discipline character, friendly/communicative character values, fond of reading, and responsibility character values. Of the 18 existing character values, not all of them have been implemented optimally, (3) In the evaluation of thematic learning, the type of assessment by the teacher refers to the assessment in the 2013 curriculum, namely the assessment of social attitudes and the assessment of knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) adalah platform teknologi yang dikembangkan oleh Kemendikbudristek untuk memfasilitasi guru dan kepala sekolah dalam mengajar, belajar, dan berkarya. Pada saat penelitian ini berlangsung, PMM ini sudah dimanfaatkan oleh guru-guru dari sekitar 291.741 sekolah dari seluruh Indonesia, termasuk guru-guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini menganalisis pemanfaatan PMM untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah umum pasca-pandemi Covid-19. Ada tiga subfokus yang akan diteliti dan dianalisis dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kesiapan guru PAI dalam memanfaatkan PMM, pemanfaatan PMM untuk pembelajaran PAI, serta kendala dalam pemanfaatan PMM untuk pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian dilakukan di dua sekolah, yaitu SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan dan SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru PAI dari kedua sekolah tersebut sudah sangat siap memanfaatkan PMM untuk meningkatkan kinerja pembelajaran mereka. Dari fitur-fitur yang ada, yang terbanyak digunakan adalah fitur Inspirasi dan fitur Mengajar. Sementara itu, fitur pengembangan diri masih kurang diminati oleh guru-guru PAI. Ditemukan juga ada beberapa kendala dalam pemanfaatan PMM ini secara optimal yang perlu mendapat perhatian dari semua pihak yang berkepentingan The Freedom Teaching Platform or Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) is a technology platform developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to facilitate teachers and principals in teaching, learning, and working. When this research was conducted, PMM had been utilized by teachers from around 291,741 schools all over Indonesia, including Islamic Education teachers. This study analyzes the utilization of PMM to improve the quality of learning, especially in Islamic Education in public schools after the COVID-19 pandemic. Three sub-focuses will be studied and analyzed in this study, namely the readiness of Islamic Education teachers to utilize PMM, the utilization of PMM for Islamic Education learning, and obstacles in utilizing PMM for Islamic Education learning. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and document reviews. The research was conducted in two schools, namely SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang, South Tangerang and SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Padang. The study results showed that Islamic Education teachers from both schools were very ready to utilize PMM to improve their learning performance. Of the existing features, the most used are the Inspiration feature and the Teaching feature. At the same time, the Professional Development feature was still less popular for Islamic Education teachers. It was also found that several obstacles in the optimal use of this PMM need attention from all interested parties.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students who have low politeness ethics, so this can be overcome through the classroom teacher's strategy in shaping politeness ethics education. Politeness ethics education is an effort to educate children to make wise decisions and practice them in everyday life. The purpose of this research is to find out the classroom teacher's strategy in shaping the ethics of courtesy of madrasah ibtidaiyah students in facing sustainability in education. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach through interviews with grade 3 teachers, grade 3 students, parents of grade 3 students, and interview documentation about the formation of students' independent personal character. The results of the research obtained are that the classroom teacher's strategy in shaping politeness ethics at school for third-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-I'Tishaam Pondok Cabe South Tangerang is by getting students used to doing habits that can form independent personal character, such as morning dhikr, saying greetings when entering class, salim to teachers, and speaking kindly and politely to teachers and peers.

Abstract

Abstract The Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), known as the Freedom Teaching Platform, is an essential government initiative that empowers teachers to implement the Kurikulum Merdeka, or Freedom Curriculum, effectively. PMM equips educators with powerful tools designed to significantly enhance teaching quality through three vital features: Self-Development, Inspiration, and Learning. These features provide teachers with critical opportunities to advance their knowledge and skills, thereby improving their ability to apply the Freedom Curriculum and elevate the quality of the instruction. This community service initiative directly targeted teachers and education personnel from Muhammadiyah Serpong College in South Tangerang to equip them with the necessary skills to maximize PMM's potential. The initiative aimed to deepen their understanding of the Freedom Curriculum and strengthen their competencies in its implementation to enhance educational quality. The program took the form of a robust technical guidance session (Bimtek) titled “Technical Guidance on Utilizing the Freedom Teaching Platform”, specifically designed for educators at Muhammadiyah College Serpong. The outcomes of this program demonstrated a meaningful increase in the readiness and capability of teachers and education staff to leverage all available PMM features, ensuring improved learning experiences and services for students. PMM ini menyediakan fasilitas bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kualiatas mengajarnya dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitus Pengembangan Diri, Inspirasi, dan Pembelajaran. Melalui ketiga fitur ini PMM menyediakan fasilitas bagi guru untuk terus meningkat diri baik dari segi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka maupun dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk membekali guru-guru dan tenaga kependidikan dari Perguruan Muhammadiyah Serpong Tangerang Selatan dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan PMM. Tujuannya adalah agar guru dan tenaga kependidikan dapat mempelajari lebih mendalam tentang Kurikulum Merdeka serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka maupun dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajarnya. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk bimbingan teknis (Bimtek) dengan judul “Bimbingan Teknis Pemanfaatan Platform Merdeka Mengajar untuk Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Perguruan Muhammadiyah Serpong”. Hasil dari Bimtek ini memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang berarti terkait kesiapan guru dan tenaga kependidikan dalam memanfaatkan seluruh fitur yang ada pada PMM serta menggunakannya untuk meningkatkan layanan pembelajaran kepada siswa. Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an essential competency that must be possessed by prospective madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers in order to develop meaningful, contextual, and life-relevant mathematics learning, including Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the mathematical literacy skills of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program (PGMI) at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (FAI UMJ) in the context of Islam. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of mathematical literacy tests based on Islamic context, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The research subjects were purposively selected, consisting of sixth-semester students who have completed the Elementary School Mathematics and Islamic Religious Education courses. The research results show that students' mathematical literacy abilities are still in the moderate category, with the highest achievements in the indicators of mathematical communication and the use of representations, but low in the indicators of reasoning and problem-solving in an Islamic context. Most students are able to relate mathematical concepts to life phenomena in Islam, such as zakat, prayer times, and inheritance distribution, but still struggle to apply systematic problem-solving strategies. These findings indicate the need for a stronger integration between mathematics content and Islamic values in the PGMI curriculum, as well as the necessity for faculty training and the development of Islamic contextual learning media. This research contributes to the development of madrasah teacher education that not only masters mathematical concepts academically but is also able to internalize and teach them within the framework of Islamic values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the development of teaching materials, and the level of feasibility of using technology-based teaching materials in learning Islamic Religious Education. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development). By using the four-D (4-D) model developed by Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The results of this study, according to media and material experts, show that the teaching materials developed have very feasible criteria with an average score of 4.65, both according to media experts and material experts based on their aspect assessment. Meanwhile, according to students' responses, they have an average score of 4.25 with very decent teaching material assessment criteria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengembangan bahan ajar, dan tingkat kelayakan penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Dengan menggunakan model four-D (4-D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Hasil penelitian ini, menurut ahli media dan ahli materi, menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata 4,65, baik menurut ahli media maupun ahli materi berdasarkan aspek penilaian mereka. Sementara itu, menurut respon siswa, bahan ajar tersebut memiliki skor rata-rata 4,25 dengan kriteria penilaian bahan ajar yang sangat layak.
