<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kearifan dalam novel The Gate of Heaven karya R. H. Fitriadi yang diterbitkan oleh Semesta pada 2010 di Jogjakarta. Data penelitian berupa sekuen-sekuen dalam novel The Gate of Heaven yang terkait kearifan di dalamnya. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah interpretasi dengan hermeneutik sastra. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwaada beberapa kearifan yang terdapat di dalam novel The Gate of Heaven karyaR. H. Fitriadi(1) kearifan dalam bentuk musyawarah dalam mengambil suatu keputusan; (2) kearifan dalam bentuk kepercayaan kepada tuhan (akidah); (3) kearifan dalam bentuk hukum-hukum Islam (syariah) seperti memuliakan tamu, memperlakukan baik perempuan dan anak-anak, serta menjaga tanah air; dan (4) kearifan dalam bentuk solidaritas umat beragama. Abstract This study aims to describe the discernment in The Gate of Heaven the work of r. H. Fitriadi published by universe 2010 in Jogjakarta. Research data in the form of a sequence-sequence in the novel The Gate of Heaven associated wisdom in it. This study uses qualitative methods with the approach of the sociology literature. Data analysis technique used was interpretation by literary hermeneutik. The results of this research show the bahwaada some of the wisdom contained in the novel The Gate of Heaven idea. H. Fitriadi (1) wisdom in the form of deliberation in taking a decision; (2) the wisdom in the form of belief in God (creed); (3) the wisdom in the form of Islamic law (Shariah) as well, treats guests to glorify women and children, as well as keeping ground water; and (4) the wisdom in the form of religious solidarity.
