This study discusses the application of the experience learning approach in Guidance and Counseling learning in secondary schools for FKIP Unsri Guidance and Counseling study program students. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the experience learning approach has an effect on the activeness of students in learning in the Middle School Guidance and Counseling courses. This study uses an experimental method, with the One Group Pretest-Post Test Design pre-experimental design, because the design is one of the research designs included in the type of pre-experiment research with observations made twice, namely before the experiment called pretest and after the experiment. called a post test on research subjects. The research subjects were students of the guidance and counseling study program FKIP Unsri in the 3rd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year Palembang class, amounting to 25 people. To obtain data using the Observation method with observation guidelines. The data analysis technique used is the t-test statistical analysis technique. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that learning by using experiential learning can improve learning activeness in the Secondary Guidance and Counseling Subjects in the Guidance and Counseling study program FKIP Unsri. T test results obtained = 8.56 is greater than t table 2.02, namely t arithmetic 8.56. > t table 2.02 with df N-1 at a significant level of 5%. Thus Learning with the approach of experiential learning can improve the learning activities of students in the guidance and counseling study program.
