Abstract

This research aims to synthesize and apply the concept of trilogy +1 learner in the learning process at school, so as to create a humanist education process. The research design uses qualitative-phenomenological, with Miles Huberman analysis model, and grand theory of humanist education Paulo Freire. The results showed that the results of the synthesis and application of the trilogy +1 learner concept had constraints on the involvement of parents of students. Factually and scientifically it can be proven that the involvement of students' parents, together with educators and students in a learning forum, can improve the quality of the humanist education process. Through the concept of trilogy +1 learner, the sympathy and empathy of students' parents is expected to get better.
