Abstract

This research was aimed to describes the relation between metacognition and science process skills in acid base learning using SiMaYang model. Population in this research were second year in one of SMAN in Bandar Lampung and taken 1 class as a sample (XI IPA 2) and selected using cluster random sampling. The research method used was survey method with correlation research design. Relation between  metacognition and science process skills measured by looking at the correlation coefficient and linear regression equation from the analysis. The results of this research showed that there were correlation between metacognition and science process skills in acid base learning using SiMaYang model was linear, positive and significant.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan  hubungan antara metakognisi dengan keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran asam basa menggunakan model SiMaYang. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa tahun kedua di salah satu SMAN di BandarLampung dan diambil 1 kelas sebagai sampel (XI IPA 2) yang dipilih menggunakan cluster random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey dengan desain penelitian korelasi. Hubungan antara metakognisi dengan keterampilan proses sains diukur dengan melihat koefisien korelasi dan persamaan regresi linier diperoleh dari hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara metakognisi dengan keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran asam basa menggunakan model SiMaYang linear, positif, dan signifikan.Kata Kunci: metakognisi, keterampilan proses sains, SiMaYang.
