PENERAPAN SIMAYANG TIPE II PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT DAN NON-ELEKTROLIT

Abstract

This quasi experiment with One Group Pretest-Postest design aimed to describe the practicality and effectiveness of SiMaYang type II on electrolyte and non electrolyte solution. The samples on this study were students of the 10th grade of MIA1, MIA2, and MIA6 gotten by using cluster random sampling. The results showed that the practicality of SiMaYang type II was measured by implementing lesson plans, students responses, assessment of teachers ability, and students activity which were classified as very high criteria. The effectiveness of SiMaYang type II was measured by n-Gain and enhancement of self-efficacy. n-Gain was classified as moderate to high criteria. The enhancement of self-efficacy was classified as very high criteria. So it was concluded that SiMaYang type II based on multiple representation is practicable and effective.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan dan keefektivan SiMaYang tipe II pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA1, MIA2, dan MIA6 dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepraktisan SiMaYang tipe II diukur berdasarkan keterlaksanaan RPP, respon siswa, penilaian kemampuan guru, dan aktivitas siswa tergolong kriteria sangat tinggi. Keefektivan SiMaYang tipe II diukur berdasarkan n-Gain dan peningkatan efikasi diri. n-Gain tergolong kriteria sedang sampai tinggi. Peningkatan efikasi diri tergolong kriteria sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan SiMaYang tipe II berbasis multipel representasi praktis dan efektif.Kata kunci: keefektivan, kepraktisan, larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit, SiMaYang tipe II
