EFEKTIVITAS INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA MATERI LAJU REAKSI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR LUWES

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry to increase flexibility thinking skills in rate of chemical reaction. Population of this research was students of class XI MIA SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung on 2014/2015 academic year. The samples in this research were of class XI MIA5 as control class and XI MIA3 as experimental class. This research used quasi experiment with Non-Equivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control-Group Design. The effectiveness of guided inquiry is showed by the significant difference of average n-Gain between control and experimental class. The results showed that the average n-Gain of flexibility thinking skills of control and experimental class were 0.23 and 0.63, respectively. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, guided inquiry learning model was effective to improve students flexibility thinking skills in rate of chemical reaction.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas inkuiri terbimbing pada materi laju reaksi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir luwes. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan Non Equivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control-Group Design. Efektivitas inkuiri terbimbing ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan rata-rata n-Gain yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-Gain keterampilan berpikir luwes kelas kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing adalah 0,23 dan 0,63. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi laju reaksi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir luwes siswa.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir luwes, laju reaksi, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing
