EFEKTIVITAS INKUIRI TERBIMBING PADA MATERI LAJU REAKSI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR LANCAR

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model to increase fluency thinking skills of students in reaction rate of chemistry topic. The population of this research was students of the MIA 9th grade of SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung. The samples were the MIA3 and MIA5 9th grade where they were taken by using purposive sampling. The research used quasi experimental method with non equivalent (pretest and postest) control-group design. The results showed that the average n-Gain of fluency thinking skills of student in control class and experimental class were 0.62 and 0.76, respectively. Based on hypothesis testing concluded that guided inquiry learning model was effective to improve fluency thinking skills of students in reaction rate of chemistry topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi laju reaksi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan sampel kelas XI MIA3 dan XI MIA5. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent (pretest and postest) control-group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-Gain kemampuan berpikir lancar pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,62 dan 0,76. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi laju reaksi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir lancar, laju reaksi, model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing
