PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS REPRESENTASI KIMIA PADA MATERI REAKSI OKSIDASI REDUKSI

Abstract

This reseach aimed to develop student worksheets based on chemical representation about reduction oxidation reaction; identify the characteristics of developed student worksheets; identify the responses of teachers and students to ward developed student worksheets; and identify the obstacles faced in developing the student worksheets. The reseach used Reseach and Development method from Gall and Borg (1989). The results showed that teacher response of the developed student worksheets in the content’s suitability aspect was 92,63%, the readable aspect was 92,38%, and the attraction aspect was 87,00%. On the other hand,  the results showed that students response the developed student worksheets in the readable aspect was 85,33% and the attraction aspect was 86,00%. Based on result, it can be concluded that student worksheets has very high quality which were attractive, appropriate with material, and readable. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS berbasis representasi kimia tentang reaksi oksidasi reduksi; mengidentifikasi karakteristik LKS yang dikembangkan; mengidentifikasi tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan; dan mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan LKS tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan menurut Gall Borg (1989). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan guru terhadap LKS yang dikembangkan pada aspek kesesuain isi sebesar 92,63%, aspek keterbacaan sebesar 93,38%, dan aspek kemenarikan sebesar 87,00%. Sedangkan menurut tanggapan siswa pada aspek keterbacaan sebesar 85,33% dan aspek kemenarikan sebesar 86,00%. Berdasarkan tanggapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas sangat tinggi yaitu telah menarik, sesuai dengan materi, dan terbaca dengan jelas.Kata kunci : lembar kerja siswa, reaksi oksidasi reduksi, representasi kimia
