Abstract

Research purposes to determine how differences in the average value concept mastery of chemical bonds between the students who were given STAD cooperative learning (Student Team Achevment devision) with a given type of cooperative learning NHT (Numbered Head Together). The sample in this study were students of class X Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung High School Academic Year 2012-2013. This research method and Quasi-Experimental design The Matching-Only Group Posttest-Only Design. The results obtained by the average value concept mastery of chemical bonds are given STAD cooperative learning is higher than that applied classroom cooperative learning model NHT. This shows the application of cooperative learning model STAD better in improving the mastery of the concept of chemical bonding.
