EFEKTIVITAS MODEL POE PADA MATERI LARUTAN PENYANGGA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR LANCAR

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of POE model on buffer solution topic in order to increase the fluent thinking ability. The method of this research was quasi experiment type non equivalent control group design. Sample class were taken by purposive sampling technique. The student of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 in SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung academic year 2015/2016 were sample in this reseacrh . The effectiveness of POE model was showed by the difference of average n-Gain that was obtained based on t test, the average n-Gain in experiment class was 0.62 and control class was 0.29. This research concluded that learning uses POE model effective on buffer solution topic in order to increase the fluent thinking ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model POE pada materi larutan penyangga dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen tipe non equivalent control group design. Kelas sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 dan XI IPA 3 SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 Efektivitas model POE dilihat berdasarkan perbedaan rata-rata n-Gain yang diperoleh berdasarkan uji t, rata-rata n-Gain.pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,62 dan kelas kontrol yaitu 0,29. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model POE efektif pada materi larutan penyangga dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir lancar.Kata Kunci : berpikir lancar, efektivitas, POE
