<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode problem solving terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Sui Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A (kelas eksprimen) yang berjumlah 34 orang dan IV B (kelas kontrol) yang berjumlah 34 orang. Hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol adalah 62,25 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen adalah 70,38. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh 0,82 tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode problem solving memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Sui Raya.  Kata kunci : Pengaruh, Metode Problem Solving, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study aimed to describe the effect of the method of problem solving to the Citizenship Education learning outcomes in class IV students of State Elementary School 15 Sui Raya. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research design used with are nonequivalent control group design. The sample was class learners IVA (experiment class), amounting to 34 people and IVB (control class) which amounts to 34 people. The results of the analysis of data obtained by the average post-test control group was 62.25 and the average post-test experimental class was 70.38. Based on the calculation of effect size (ES) of 0.82 was obtained classified in the high category.
