Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis siswa yang terdiri dari: (1) memahami masalah; (2) menyelesaian masalah; (3) memeriksa kembali penyelesaian masalah matematis di kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya Kab.Kubu Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian adalah deskriptif eksplorasi. Subjek yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas IX C. Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis materi kubus. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis siswa temasuk kategori rendah dengan persentase ketercapaian 55%. Secara khusus kemampuan penyelesaian masalah matematis dibagi dalam tiga indikator yaitu: (1) kemampuan memahami masalah matematis dengan persentase 79%; (2) kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematis dengan persentase 58%; (3) kemampuan memeriksa kembali penyelesaian masalah matematis dengan persentase 28%.   Kata kunci : Kemampuan, Penyelesaian Masalah Matematis, Kubus Abstract: This aim research aims to describe ability of problem solving mathematical of students are : (1) understanding the problem; (2) finish the problem; (3) looking back problem solving mathematical in class IX SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya Kab.Kubu Raya West Borneo Province. The research method that used is a descriptive exploration. The subject  to participate in research is 30 students in class IX C. the research object is ability of problem solving mathematical on matter cube. The results of data analysis showed that the average ability of problem solving mathematical of students in category low with obtain percentage 55%. By means of special ability of problem solving mathematical in three indicator that is: (1) ability of understanding the problem mathematical with percentage 79%; (2) ability of finish the problem mathematical with percentage 58%; (3) ability of looking back problem solving mathematical with percentage 28%.   Keywords : Ability, Problem Solving Mathematical, Cube
