Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian berupa  konflik dalam perilaku organisasi dan model yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi konflik, berikut kinerja dan produktivitas organisasi pasca konflik di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data terdiri dari Mantan Kepala Sekolah, Waka Sekolah, Guru yang mengetahui kondisi konflik tersebut. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan, bahwa menengahi konflik, menjelaskan pentingnya kerjasama, menekankan kepentingan bersama, melakukan sesi-sesi pembentukan tim, dan lain-lain tidak cukup bisa menyelesaikan konflik. Oleh karena itu diperlukan kepemimpinan transformasional melalui pendekatan kecerdasan emosional, mengedepankan etos kerja, berorientasi manusia dan prestasi. Agar konflik serupa tidak terulang maka kepala sekolah perlu memiliki komitmen memberi kesempatan, dan mendorong semua unsur di sekolah untuk bekerja atas dasar sistem nilai yang luhur, sehingga bersedia dan tanpa paksaan, berpartisipasi secara optimal mencapai tujuan ideal sekolah.   Kata Kunci: Manajemen Konflik Organisasi Sekolah. Abstract: The aim of this research is to know conflicts in organization and the way that used by headmaster to handle conflicts, with productivity and organization work after conflict at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. This research using qualitative with natural approach. To collecting data, using observation, deep interview and documentation study. The sources to collecting data consist of former headmaster, vice headmaster, and teacher who knows the condition of conflict. The result of this research recommended that, interceded in the conflict, explaining how is important in cooperate, in the interest of togetherness, and to make a good team there is not a goog enough to finished to conflict. That’s way needs transform of leadership through emotional cleverness approach, put formard work ethic, and achievement. In order to the same conflict is not happen again, headmaster needs to make commitment give change and motivated in all element at school to cooperate without forced to reach school goals.
