Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi sistem hormon kelas XI SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini ialah quasi experiment dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitan terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen adalah 78,23, sedangkan di kelas kontrol adalah 67,50. Hasil uji U Mann-Whitney dengan α = 5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi sistem hormon yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 1,08, artinya pengaruh video pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi sistem hormon di kelas XI SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 85,99% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Video pembelajaran, hasil belajar, sub materi sistem hormon Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of video learning on student’s learning outcomes in sub material hormonal system at 2nd grade SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. The research design was quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research sample consisted of two classes which were class XI IPA 1 as experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. This research used saturated sampling technique. Instruments were used 20 items of multiple choice test. The average of student’s outcomes at the experimental class was 78.23, while in the control class was 67.50. Result of the U Mann-Whitney test with α=5% means there was difference on student’s learning outcomes in sub material hormone system that was taught using conventional teaching and video learning. Effect Size values obtained 1.08, means the effect of video learning on student’s learning outcomes in sub material hormonal system at 2nd grade SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak included in the high category and had contribution 85.99% on student’s learning outcomes.
