Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik dengan menggunakan media realistik dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 20 Siantan Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuknya penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas, dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subyek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 20 Siantan Pontianak yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi dengan menggunakan media realistik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penggunaan media realistik pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 20 Siantan Pontianak dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, diterima. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Pembelajaran, Media Realistik Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using realistic media in mathematics subjects at the fourth grade students in the Elementary School 20 Siantan Pontianak. This research method is descriptive, in Classroom Action Research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners Elementary School fourth grade students in the Elementary School 20 Siantan Pontianak which consisted of 24 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using realistic media had improved learning activity of students. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application of the realistic media in mathematics lessons at the fourth grade in the Elementary School 20 Siantan Pontianak can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
