Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak pada materi koloid. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diukur menggunakan tes tertulis berbentuk essai, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Instrument penelitian divalidasi menggunakan matriks uji Gregory dan dinyatakan valid. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak masih rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rendahnya persentase rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 36,54% dan termasuk kategori kurang. Hal ini membuktikan hanya sedikit siswa yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi koloid. Kata kunci : keterampilan, berpikir kritis, koloid Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak on colloidal material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The samples were students of class XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak included 32 students. Critical thinking skills of students are measured using the written essay test, observation sheets, and interviews. Instrument validation study was using a Gregory matrix test and the result is valid. The research result obtained that the critical thinking skills of students in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak still low with a percentage of 36,54%. The result showed that the critical thinking skills of students in grade XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Pontianak still low. This is reflected by the low average percentage of students' critical thinking skills by 36.54% and less category. It evidenced that only a few students who have critical thinking skills on colloidal material.   Keywords: skills, critical thinking, colloidal material
