PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KONSEP BILANGAN 1-10 MELALUI PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui informasi tentang proses pembelajaran permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep bilangan 1-10 pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita kecamatan Menukung kabupaten Melawi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelangi kurangnya kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep bilangan 1-10. (1) Terdapat 8 anak dari 14 anak atau sekitar 57.14 persen anak yang tidak bisa membilang/menyebut urutan  bilangan 1-10; dan (2) Terdapat 10 anak dari 14 anak atau sekitar 71.43 persen anak yang tidak bisa menunjuk dan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak yang berjumlah 14 anak dan guru (peneliti). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat sebagi berikut: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran mengenal konsep bilangan 1-10 dikategorikan “baik”, (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengenal konsep bilangan 1-10 dikategorikan “baik”, (3) Peningkatannya anak dapat membilang 1-10 secara berurutan 85%, membilang banyak benda 1-10 85%, menghubungkan lambang bilangan dengan benda 1-10 85%, membilang dengan menunjuk benda 1-10 85%, dan menunjuk lambang bilangan 1-10 85%. Kata Kunci: Konsep Bilangan, Metode Bermain Ular Tangga.  Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the information about the snakes and ladders game learning process in improving children’s ability to recognize numeral concept 1-10 on 4-5 years old children in TK Dharma Wanita Menukung District Melawi Regency. This research is motivated by the lack of children’s ability in recognizing numeral concept 1-10. (1) there are 8 children of 14 or about 57,14 percent children cannot name numeral concept 1-10; and (2) there are 10 children of 14 or about 71,43 percent children cannot point out and recognize numeral symbol 1-10. The form of this research is classroom action research with descriptive method. The subjects are 14 children and teacher (researcher). Based on the result, it can be seen as follow : (1) the lesson plan of recognizing numeral concept 1-10 is categorized “good”, (2) the learning process of numeral concept 1-10 is categorized “good”, (3) the children’s improvement to name 1-10 in series is 85%, naming many objects 1-10 85%, relating numeral symbol with objects1-10 85%, naming by pointing out objects 1-10 85%, and point out the numeral symbol 1-10 85%. Meanwhile, the children is having fun while playing snakes and ladders and doing the teacher’s instruction well. Keywords : numeral concept, snakes and ladders game method
