Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang diberi Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Sebanyak 69 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa secara signifikan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,00, ? = 0,05) antara siswa yang diberi Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (rata-rata : 76,05) dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional (rata-rata : 59,37). Hasil uji statistik terhadap rata-rata hasil belajar pada setiap tingkat kemampuan siswa juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Kata Kunci : PMRI, Matematika, Realistik, Operasi Hitung. Abstract : The direction of this research is detecting the differences average of study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education (RME) and the students that learned by Conventional Teaching. This research using the experiment method with 69 students involved in the research. The result of Mann-Whitney test indicating that significantly the average study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education and the students that learned by conventional teaching are different. Based on ability level, the average study result between the students that learned by Indonesian Realistik Mathematics Education and the students that learned by Conventional Teaching also different significantly.
