Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap kesulitan siswa dan untuk mengetahui apakah melalui remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa pada materi luas gabungan bangun datar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 4 orang siswa kelas VIII MTs Babussalam Peniraman yang mengalami kesulitan pada materi luas gabungan bangun datar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keempat orang subjek penelitian mengalami kesulitan pada materi luas gabungan bangun datar, meliputi: kesulitan menerapkan konsep, kesulitan menuliskan rumus, kesulitan menuliskan hal yang diketahui dan kesulitan dalam menyimpulkan. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis belum dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa secara maksimal namun kesulitan tersebut dapat diminimalisir dilihat dari pre test dan post test siswa menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan siswa berkurang setelah diberikan remediasi meskipun siswa masih mengalami kesulitan yang sama pada post test. Kata kunci: Remediasi, Kesulitan, Wawancara Klinis. Abstract: This study aims is to reveal students' difficulties and to determine whether remediation through clinical interviews in the material combined area of flat wake. Method used is descriptive method, with the form of case study research , the subject of research consists of four students eighth graders of MTs Babussalam Peniraman who have trouble waking up in the combined area of flat material. The result of the research show up at all four study subjects had difficulty waking combined area of flat material, include: difficulty applying concepts, difficulty writing down the formula, difficulty writing down thinhs to know and difficulty in concluding. From the analysis of the data showed that the clinical interview has not been able to overcome the the difficulties students to maximum, but the difficulty can be minimized seen from the pre test and post test students reveal students difficulties are given reduced after remediation although students are still experiencing the same difficulties.
