PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP RESPON DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran quantum teaching terhadap respon dan hasil belajar  siswa pada materi . Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes hasil belajar dan angket respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis  dengan menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney (α = 5%) menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan quantum teaching dan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan angket respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran quantum teaching, diperoleh tingkat persetujuan sebesar 86,18% dengan interpretasi tergolong sangat kuat dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanggapan siswa kelas eksperimen positif. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,588 dalam katagori sedang  dan memberikan pengaruh sebesar 21,9 %  terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching, Respon, Hasil Belajar, Reaksi Kimia   Abstrack: the purpose of this research was to know the influence of  quantum teaching toward respons and learning outcomes in chemical reaction materials on grade VII SMPN 7 Pontianak. The sample of this research are VII B as experiment class and VII A as control class. The form of this research was a quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The instrument that been use essay test and questionnaire respons. Based on the U Mann – Whitney test with significance level α = 5% indicated there were differences between students that taught by using quantum teaching with students that taught by using conventional learning model. Based on the result of questionnaire from student response of teaching process using quantum teaching, it got 86,18% agreement with very strong interpretation and the conclusion is students have positive responses in exsperimentalclass.  The value of effect size is 0,588 with moderate category and gave the contribution 21,9 % toward increase learning outcomes.   Keywords : Quantum Teaching, respons, learning outcomes, chemical reaction
