<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan media kongkrit di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Teluk Keramat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Teluk Keramat yang berjumlah 27 orang. Analis terhadap hasil observasi dan studi dokumentasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi belajar siswa dengan penggunaan media kongkrit dalam pembelajaran matematika. Peningkatan yang terjadi pada akhir penelitian yakni peningkatan kompetensi kognitif dengan skor rata-rata 66, peningkatan kompetensi afektif dengan kategori Bagus dan peningkatan kompetensi psikomorik dengan persentase aspek pengamatan akhir sebesar 100%. Abstract: This research aim is to know improved the competence of students in math learning in the classroom using concrete media SMP Negeri 5 Teluk Keramat. The method used in this research is a classroom action research method. The subjeck in this research is 27 students of eighth grade in SMP Negeri 5 Teluk Keramat. Analyst for the observation and documentation studies showed an increase in students' competence with the use of concrete media in learning mathematics. Increase that occurs at the end of the study, the increasing cognitive competence with an average score of 66, an increase in the category Good affective competencies and competency improvement with the percentage aspect psikomorik final observation of 100%.
