PENGARUH KEPRIBADIAN DAN STRES TERHADAP PRESTASI KERJA GURU SEKOLAH DASAR SWASTA KECAMATAN SINGKAWANG

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik pada usia dini, jalur pendidikan formal, pendidikan dasar dan pendidikan menengah.  penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan dilaksanakan di  SD Swasta di Kecamatan Singkawang Selatan. Sampelnya adalah 109 guru SDS yang diambil secara proportionate random sampling dari 150 guru berdasarkan formula Slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh kepribadian terhadap prestasi kerja, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,742 dan koefisien determinasi 55%; (2) terdapat pengaruh stres terhadap prestasi kerja dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,661 dan koefisien determinasi 43,7%; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh kepribadian dan stress terhadap prestasi kerja, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,825 dan koefisien determinasi 62%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ketika kepribadian guru dalam kondisi baik dan stres dalam kondisi rendah maka dapat mendorong peningkatan prestasi kerja.   Kata kunci: kepribadian, stres, prestasi kerja. Abstract: to educate, teach, guide, direct, train, value, and evaluate learners in early age, through formal education, primary and high school In individual circumstance, stress and personal  determination contribute the effect to job performance. To answer the problems above researcher use quantitative approach and implemented on private primary school in south Singkawang sub district. There are 7 school with 109 primary teachers as research sample. This sample taken using proportionate random sampling.The result of the research can be find that (1) There is an impact of personality to the job performance with 0,742 coefficient correlation and  55%  coefficient determination. This indicate the personality is a condition which needed for teacher to have an optimal job performance. (2)  There is a stress impact to ward job performance with o,661 coefficient correlation and  43,7%  coefficient determination. (3) There is an impact on both personality and stress to ward job performance with 0,825 coefficient correlation and  62%  coefficient determination.  This indicate that the teacher personality is a good condition and with a same time his/her stress is low it can increase the job performance.
