Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi kognitif serta self-confidence mahasiswa pasca mentoring berbantuan microsoft math pada materi geometri di program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP untan Pontianak angkatan 2012. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis. Sedangkan bentuk penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 mahasiswa kelas B serta 3 mahasiswa kelas C yang masing-masing mengikuti mentoring tanpa bantuan microsoft math dan berbantuan microsoft math. Ketiga mahasiswa dari tiap kelas mewakili kelompok tingkat pengetahuan yaitu kelompok atas, tengah, dan bawah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai macam strategi kognitif mahasiswa pada saat menyelesaikan permasalahan geometri pasca mentoring berbantuan microsoft math maupun tanpa microsoft math. Sedangkan self-confidence mahasiswa kelas B dan C, keduanya mengalami penurunan. Akan tetapi penurunan paling besar dialami oleh mahasiswa kelas C. Kata Kunci : Strategi Kognitif, Self-Confidence, Mentoring   Abstract:This studyaims to determine the cognitive strategies and self-confidence of post mentoring students assisted microsoft math on the material geometry in mathematics education study program FKIP UNTAN Pontianak in generation 2012. The method used is descriptive analysis. While forms of research are case study. The subjects of this study consisted of 3 students of class B and 3 students of class C respectively in the mentoring unassisted microsoft math and assisted microsoft math. The three students from each class representing the level of knowledge group namely the upper group, middle, and bottom. The results of the data analysis showed that there are several kinds of cognitive strategies when solve the problems of geometry in post mentoring assisted microsoft math although unassisted microsoft math. Whileself-confidence of studentsof class B and C, both descended. However, the biggest desc end found on the students of class C. Keywords: CognitiveStrategies, Self-Confidence, Mentoring
