Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh lemahnya koneksi matematis siswa dan semakin terlupakannya kearifan lokal etnis melayu Sambas. Tujuan jangka pendek yakni membentuk lembar kerja siswa dan RPP berbasis kearifan lokal etnis melayu Sambas. Sedangkan tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini yakni terbentuknya buku ajar, lembar kerja siswa dan RPP berbasis kearifan lokal etnis melayu Sambas yang mampu mengoptimalkan koneksi matematika siswa. Metode yang digunakan berupa penelitian pengembangan, yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk pendidikan berupa bahan ajar matematika berbentuk buku. Dalam penelitian ini, desain pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti model rancangan Plomp. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat 12 jenis kearifan lokal etnis Melayu Sambas. Sedangkan yang relevan dengan pembelajaran matematika serta dikembangkan terdapat 7 jenis kearifan lokal, yaitu cikram, antar pinang, jamuan makan saprah, tarup, tepung tawar, ngukor, belallalek dan pacoan. Kata Kunci: Kearifan lokal, keneksi matematis

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to describe the students error in solving social arithmetic story problems based on Newman's Error Analysis (NEA) and describe the factors caused students error in solving social arithmetic material story problems based on Newman's Error Analysis (NEA) on seventh grade students of junior high school. The research method used is descriptive method in the from of case study research. The subjects of this research are 21 students. Data collection techniques used are test techniques and direct communication techniques (interviews). The results showed that the error which were done by students were error in reading (R), comprehension errors (C), transformation errors (T), process skills errors (P), end encoding errors (E). Casual factors that were done by students in each error in terms of cognitive are including students do not understand the problem as a whole, lack of mastery in the use of formulas and doing calculations, in a hurry in working on the problem, not careful, confusion factors in students, factors of forgetfulness and not good time management. Keywords: Error Analysis, Story Question, Social Arithmetic, Newman?s Error Analysis (NEA).

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out the difference in students who had given homework feedback when compared with the students had not homework feedback to responsibility and learning outcomes in mathematics on the students of flat build class seven grades in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The method in this research used experimental and quasy experimental design. Sample of the research were consisted of 30 students of seven B grades as experiment and 30 students of seven C class as a control. The result showed that the average sense responsibility and mathematics learning outcomes of students who had given homework feedback was higher than students had not given its. The results of analysis the data, it obtained there were the differences in students who had given homework feedback than students had no homework feedback to learning outcomes and responsibility of students seven grades in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. It showed the average responsibility was equal to 57,17 in the control and class experiment 59,83 for the average learning outcomes in control class by 65 and in the experimental class 72.Keywords: Homework Feedback, Responsibility, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the level of thinking of students based on Van Hiele's Theory on the material obtained rectangular flat in terms of self-confidence. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were six eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Pakedai. The data collection techniques used in this  study were and interview, wich were given to the chosen subjects based self-confidence categories. The results of data analysis showed that there were two students who were at the level of visualization, three students who were at the level of analysis, and one student who was at the level of abstraction. The level of thinking students in visualization shows in terms of the confidence obtained by students catching a rectangle from the interpretation of the interpretive form without understanding the regularity of the shape, using the properties that are not appropriate in accordance with determining the quadrilateral. When the analysis is obtained students can tell about how to get the properties that appear at the top can explain the nature of getting special. At the same time, student are not able to connect the same properties between one quadrilateral build and another. Keywords : Self Confidence, Thinking Level, Van Hiele Theory

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aims ability to describe ability of students in working on math word problem at 4th grade in SDIT Wisata Hasanah  Pontianak Tenggara. Overall the ability of students to solve story problems is still lacking value average = (38,90). The method used is descriptive with the survai research form.Who were selected to be interviewed were 6 people. Data collection tools in the form of written tests in the form of essays with a total of 2 questions.Based on the results of the study of students' ability to understand the problem of high and medium group story problems can write what is known and what is asked correctly and completely.  Low groups can only write what is known.  The ability of students to make a plan to solve the problem of the middle and high mathematics groups can write the formula in solving the problem correctly and completely, the low math group writes the formula but it is less precise and incomplete.  The ability to implement a mathematical group problem solving plan can write the completion process thoroughly and the results are correct, the math group is successful in writing the completion process without the strand and the results are correct, the math group is low.  The ability to look back on the results obtained by the medium and high mathematics groups checks again the answers obtained and concludes the answers.  Low math groups do not check the results obtained but write conclusions of incomplete answers Keywords: Learning Mathematics, Math Word Problem, Students Ability

Abstract

Motivasi merupakan suatu dorongan dalam diri seseorang yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan. Dorongan yang ada tersebut dapat muncul atau tidak, tergantung pada ada tidaknya tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Dalam pembelajaran matematika peranan belajar yang disertai dengan makna bernuansa kontekstual sangat diperlukan, agar peserta didik berhasrat dalam mencapai tujuan. Untuk memunculkan hasrat tersebut, maka motivasi perlu ditumbuhkembangkan pada diri peserta didik. Dalam pembelajaran matematika maupun pembelajaran lainnya, menumbuhkan motivasi dapat dengan berbagai cara. Dalam tulisan ini dipaparkan cara menumbuhkan motivasi peserta didik yang disertai dengan nilai.Kata Kunci: Motivasi, pembelajaran matematika, nilai.

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD berbasis konstruktivisme dalam pengembangan kreativitas matematika oleh etnis China, dilakukan penelitian melalui 4 fase, yakni: Perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi; yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus (simulasi, uji coba terbatas, dan pengambilan data penelitian). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD efektif terhadap hasil belajar pada sub materi laporan kas dengan harga effect size (ES) = 0,77. Berdasarkan kriteria effect size (ES) = 0,77 termasuk pada kriteria sedang. Sehingga dapat dikatakan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD memberikan kontribusi 28 % terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi laporan kas pada siswa kelas I AK-1 SMKK Immanuel.Kata Kunci: Kreativitas, Kooperatif, Konstruktivimes, STAD

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran spasial matematis siswa dalam geometri di SMPN 1 Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Kubu Raya sebanyak 26 siswa. Kemampuan penalaran spasial matematis siswa pada tingkat kemampuan matematika atas sebanyak 4 siswa (15,38%) berada pada kategori cukup, sedang sebanyak 18 siswa (69,24%) berada pada kategori kurang dan bawah sebanyak 4 siswa (15,38) berada pada kategori kurang. Siswa pada tingkat kemampuan matematika atas, sedang, dan bawah masih belum dapat mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil dari membayangkan transformasi balok dan menghubungkan secara logis dan rasional unsur-unsur dari sebuah balok.   Kata Kunci : Kemampuan penalaran spasial matematis, Geometri   Abstract: This research aims to describe the student mathematical spatial reasoning ability in geometry at SMPN 1 Kubu Raya. Method of research is descriptive method with case study type. Subject in this research is students in VIII A were 26 students. The mathematical spatial reasoning ability at high mathematic ability level were 4 students (15.38%) at enough category, student at moderate mathematic ability level were 18 students (69.24%) at less category and student at low mathematic ability level were 4 students (15.38%) at less category. Students at high, moderate and low mathematic ability level didn’t to describing the process and result from reflected transformation a block and didn’t associating in logical and rational unsure of block.   Keywords: Mathematical spatial reasoning ability, Geometry

Abstract

Abstract The potention of students learning trajectory in comparison of trigonometry of X IPA students at SMAN 1 Pontianak were uneffective. This research was describe to the potention of students learning trajectory there was a new inovation in mathematics learning model using learning trajectory, and to increase mathematics learning effectiveness of learning trajectory towar the potention of student on learning goals, learning activity, and hypothetical learning trajectory . This research is in the form of a semi-descriptive qualitative that uses a single subject design. The research sample consisted of 6 student (10% of 40 student in a class) as the experimental group selected by participatory observation technique. Participatory observation technique test, interview guidelines, documentation, discussion group forum and triangulation/combination were used to collect data. Based on final pretest and posttest data analysis using directly to completion. This is indicated by the increasing potential of students' learning trajectory in trigonometric comparisons in senior high schools using learning trajectory successfully achieved through unit circles. Thus, the potention of students learning trajectory can build on mathematical conceptual understanding in trigonometric comparison material. Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berstruktur Metakognisi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan bentuk desain dengan Kelompok Kontrol Tak-Setara. Kelas eksperimen diterapkan model PBL berstruktur metakognisi dan untuk kelas kontrol diterapkan model PBL saja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahawa (1) Kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas sebelum diberi perlakuan adalah sama, (2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas setelah diberi perlakuan,  (3) Peningkatan kemampuan problem solving pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 2,97 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,10. (4) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 3,58 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,93. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Metakognisi, Kemampuan Problem Solving, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis   Abstract: This research aimed at improving students ' mathematical reasoning ability through Problem Based Learning (PBL) Structured Metacognition. This form of research is quasi experimental research with form design with an equivalent control group. Classroom experiments applied Metacognition and structured model of PBL for the control class is applied to a model of PBL course. Based on the findings of this research, the researcher found that (1) The ability of mathematical reasoning of the university student from two different clases were equaly before the implematation of the action. (2) After the implemantation of the action the researcher found different ability of mathematical reasoning in both classses. (3) The students ability of mathematical problem solving improved as well in experimental class.
