PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE DISKUSI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS V SD

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 18 Pekawai Sekadau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang berkolaborasi dengan guru teman sejawat. Penelitian dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas berupa Siklus I, II, dan Siklus III dengan subjek penelitian  guru dan 14 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian rancangan pembelajaran, Siklus I: 3,24; Siklus II: 3,43; dan Siklus III: 3,66. Pelaksanaan pembelajarannya, Siklus I: 3,25; Siklus II: 3,50; dan Siklus III: 3,67.  Hasil belajar siswa, Siklus I rata-ratanya 62; Siklus II: 71; dan Siklus III: 78. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Metode Diskusi Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Kelas V SDN 18 Pekawai Sekadau ternyata mengalami peningkatan, baik rancangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran maupun hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi guru SD yang berupaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya di Kelas V SD. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Metode Diskusi, IPA Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the method of discussion in science teaching in class V SD Negeri 18 Pekawai Sekadau. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach in collaboration with teacher colleagues. The study was conducted through action research in the form of Cycle I, II, and III cycle with the study subject teacher and 14 students. Results of the research study design, Cycle I: 3.24; Cycle II: 3.43; and Cycle III: 3.66. Implementation of learning, Cycle I: 3.25; Cycle II: 3.50; and Cycle III: 3.67. Student learning outcomes, Cycle I averaged 62; Cycle II: 71; and Cycle III: 78. It can be concluded that the Improvement of Student Learning Results Discussion Method Using Science Lesson In Class V SDN 18 Pekawai Sekadau had experienced an increase both learning design, implementation of learning and student learning outcomes. This study is expected to be a reference for elementary school teachers who seek to improve student learning outcomes, especially in Class V SD. Keyword: Learning Results, Discussion method, IPA
