PENGARUH STRATEGI WHAT’S MY LINE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS V SD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh dari penggunaan strategi What’s My Line terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V SD Negeri 07 Pontianak Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dan bentuk penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas pada kontrol sebesar 58,53 sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,27. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan t-test Polled Varian diperoleh thitung 4,67 dan ttabel 2,012 (taraf signifikan (α) = 5% dan dk = 48) menunjukkan bahwa thitung (4,67) > ttabel (2,012), maka Ha dinyatakan diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES), diperoleh ES = 0,79 (kriteria sedang). Hal ini berarti strategi What’s My Line memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V SD Negeri 07 Pontianak Kota. Kata Kunci : strategi What’s My Line, hasil belajar, pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.   Abstract : This study aims to analyze how much the influence of What's My Line strategy to the improvement of Social Sciences learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School number 07 Pontianak City. The method used is an experimental method, and the shape of the quasi-experimental study is Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the data analysis, obtained an average grade of student learning outcomes in the control class are 58.53 while the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class are 71.27. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained Polled Variant ttest 4.67 and ttable 2.012 (significance level (α) = 5% and df = 48) showed that the t-test (4.67) > ttable (2.012), then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES), ES = 0.79 is obtained (moderate). This means that the strategy of What's My Line provides moderate impact on Social Sciences learning outcomes of fifth grade students of State Elementary School number 07 Pontianak City.
