Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini menitik beratkan pada motivasi intrinsik dan ektrinsik guru mengajar di daerah terpencil kabupaten melawi dengan fokus penelitian faktor-faktor intrinsik dan ektrinsik guru bertahan mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi objektif tentang motivasi intrinsik dan ektrinsik guru bertahan mengajar di daerah terpencil pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri 08 Kayu Bunga Kecamatan Belimbing Hulu dengan sumber data utama adalah 6 orang informan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini melalui tahapan reduksi data, display data, verifikasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah faktor motivasi intrinsik guru bertahan mengajar yaitu rasa tanggung jawab terhadap pendidikan anak di daerah pedalaman, guru menyenangi pekerjaan sebagai propesi yang mulia, dan guru memperoleh penghargaan yang baik dari masyarakat setempat. Sementara faktor motivasi ektrinsik adalah  kerja sama guru, lingkungan yang kondusif dan evaluasi/supervise kepala sekolah. Kata Kunci: Motivasi guru, dan Bertahan mengajar Abstract: This study is focused on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factor to teach in kabupaten Melawi. Which is the focuses on the factors intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of surviving teachers teaches in remote areas. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of teachers teaching in remote areas persist at SD Negeri 08 Kayu Bunga kecamatan Belimbing Hulu, that consist of 6 people as the primary data. This study is qualitative, case study approach. While the data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study through the stages of data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion. The results of this study can be concluded, generally the main factor of the teacher to teach in remote areas are factors intrinsic motivation, they are  a sense of responsibility towards children's education in the remote area, profession as noble, and teachers received an award from the local community. While extrinsic motivation factors are the cooperation of teachers, a composed environment and an evaluation of the principal. Keywords: Teacher’s motivation and Defense’s teaching.
