<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of consumer behavior terdahap lifestyle FKIP Untan economic education students . The method used is the method of associative / relationship with the form of research is a causal relationship . The sample was an active student economic education FKIP Untan 2009-2012 . The results of the data analysis shows that there is influence consumer behavior of economic education student lifestyle FKIP Untan . Based on t count of 9.146 indicates that there oengaruh independent variable ( X ) on the dependent variable ( Y ) . When compared with the t table at significant level of 5 % was 1.665 . Then t is greater than t table or 9.146 > 1.665 so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted . Calculation of simple linear regression equation Y = 9.699 obtained 0,529 + X. The coefficient of determination in this study shows the contribution independent variables ( X ) is the consumer behavior of the dependent variable ( Y ) is the lifestyle of 51.4 % . Keywords : Consumer behaviour, lifestyle Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku konsumtif terdahap gaya hidup mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi FKIP Untan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif/hubungan dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah hubungan kausal. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif pendidikan ekonomi FKIP Untan tahun 2009-2012. Hasil analisi data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh perilaku konsumtif terhadap gaya hidup mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi FKIP Untan. Berdasarkan t hitung sebesar 9,146 menunjukkan bahwa ada oengaruh variabel bebas (X) terhadap variabel terikat (Y). Jika dibandingkan dengan t tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 1,665. Maka t hitung lebih besar daripada t tabel atau 9,146 > 1,665 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Perhitungan regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan Y = 9,699 + 0,529X. Koefisien Determinasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kontribusi pengaruh variabel bebas (X) yaitu perilaku konsumtif terhadap variabel terikat (Y) yaitu gaya hidup sebesar 51,4%.
