Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E pada materi koloid dan besarnya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi koloid. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment Design dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Non Randomize Control Group Pretest-Postest Design”. Berdasarkan analisis data posttest dan angket motivasi dengan menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney (α = 5%) diperoleh P-value sebesar 0,000. Hasil ini menunjukan terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E. Pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 27,34%. Kata kunci: learning cycle, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar   Abstract: This research aimed to determine the differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught by using the Learning Cycle’s 7E model and students who were taught without using Learning Cycle’s 7E model on colloid matter and the influence of using the Learning Cycle’s 7E model to the learning outcomes. The method use on this research was quasi-experiment and the design of research was “Non Randomize Control Group Pretest-Postest Design”.
